Hand made Hill shape water fountain

As I promised, I have made another blog regarding another hand made water fountain, handcrafted ideal for indoor, outdoor garden or table top with ordinary household things.

What you need :

For this one specially I have used, One time usable plastic water bottles , used color containers,disposable plastic container, thermocol (Polystyrene) ,roller bandage ,a plastic tray(cost 85 rs from local market) ,small plastic pipe and cement . And one more thing that we need to buy for this handcrafted work is a good quality water pump cost around 200-250 rs online. To give it a greenery look I have purchased small trees from Paytm mall to decorate(This is up to you whether you can use it or not). Total cost around 550-00 and my dedications ;) :P

The Steps you can follow :

These are easy projects which require few skills or tools and can be completed on your own in just a few hours. just started with steps below to learn now:

Step - 1

There are hundreds of water fountain design you could easily find over the internet. They are made of various materials with various attractive looks. You can always choose the one which suits your taste and matches with the style of your passion, pond, or garden.

At first I some how managed a medium size of thermocol piece (actually from my DTH bpx-pack ;) ) to use it as a base. Then gradually I placed two color containers one after another above the base and tight them with bandage and in one container attach the pipe at bottom  with Pidilite M Seal for water proofing the pipe attached section to avoid any unwanted water drop. After that fixed that thing with cement (advised to use gloves for this). then let it dry for hours.

Step - 2

On next day, I put another 2lt plastic bottle and place it over the color container to make the  castle narrow head. And apply cement with brush all over it after placing bandage all over it. Like before fixed the whole thing above the thermocol with cement and let it dry for few hours.

Step - 3

Place the whole thing above the tray. At first I put a small net in tray to decorate it with colorful pebbles but now after some days I removed it in next image you can see that. Then  Dry it for 1 full day.

Step - 4

After one day, started to color it, and for that I choose green, yellow, blue, orange and brown to give it a hilly area look but to avoid dust and fungus I used black after few days, here I will upload both the images of it previous one and current one. I used 12,16,8 size paint brush for coloring.

Step - 5

To give it a castle like look, I made this and put it over the bottle neck and color it with brown and place a small flag over it.

Step - 6 

And finally hard work pays. In the last step, what I need to do is that just place the water pump in the pipe end and plug in the socket to main line.

Step - 7

To make it more attractive and colorful , I added some colored pebbles into this fountain , as you can see after adding those it's look so beautiful and add some hand wash gel to get this bubble all over the water flow.

It'll be more beautiful if you place a small gold rice light with it at night in your drawing room or gardens.

Warnings:

•        Make sure you have enough water in the fountain when you turn on the pump and that you occasionally refill the fountain. The pump running dry will cause damage to the pump.
•       Make sure that there is enough room in the water storage area to hold all the water the pump is circulating; in case the pump is unplugged.
•      Keep the area around the fountain clear of objects vulnerable to water damage.
